Welcome to Brightwells Gostrey
Thank you for visiting our website and our warmest wishes to you all during this extraordinary time. Our board of trustees has made the difficult decision to keep the social centre closed. This is under constant review, but the safety of all our clients remains our priority. However, we are still very much here for the older community of Farnham. We have continued to extend our daily meal service, offering a freshly cooked meal at lunch time with the option of a frozen meal for the evening, as well as afternoon tea. If you are interested or know of someone in need, please call Jess or Hannah on 01252 725330 / 01252 727280
Brightwells Gostrey has been in the heart of the community for older people for over 30 years. We provide a warm and friendly environment for senior citizens to meet. Offering a variety of vital activities and services including door to door transport, freshly cooked meals, daily activities, yoga stretch, craft workshops, grandparent and toddler groups, outings and much more. We are proud to bring a sense of belonging, companionship, fun and enjoyment to those in their golden years
We are a registered charity and regularly fundraise, however, in order for us to continue to offer our services, we are also heavily dependent on the generous donations and funding that we receive. Every single penny goes such a long way and makes a real difference
If you would like to make a donation, please do get in touch
We have a team of dedicated staff, but we also rely on our volunteers to help with the day to day running of the centre. Without them, we simply would not exist.
If you have a spare few hours each week or only on an occasional basis - whatever your interest or skill - from escorting on our minibuses, assisting with our groups, delivering our community meals, helping out in our cafe, kitchen or community garden, we will definitely have a role for you! We are in desperate need and would love to hear from you!
